Fund Managers Were Landing on Our Website and Disappearing. Corvexa Changed That.

Fund Managers Were Landing on Our Website and Disappearing. Corvexa Changed That.

We built a platform that manages the entire investor lifecycle for real estate funds, from fundraising and onboarding through to investor reporting and distribution management. Our clients are fund managers running $50M to $2B in AUM.

The problem was simple and maddening: fund managers were landing on our website, clearly reading everything, and then leaving. No forms filled. No demos booked. No contact at all.

They were evaluating us. We just had no way to start the conversation at the moment they were ready to have it.

The Hidden Truth

Real estate fund managers do not impulsively book software demos. They research for weeks. They compare two or three platforms. They discuss internally. They evaluate security, compliance, investor experience, and implementation complexity, often without ever identifying themselves to a vendor.

The window where they are most receptive to a conversation is during active research, when they are on your product page, looking at your investor portal demo, or reading about your fundraising workflow. That is the moment. Miss it, and they find someone else.

How Corvexa Changed Our Approach

We configured Corvexa with three core intent categories matching our platform modules: Fundraising & Onboarding, Investor Experience, and Investment Management. Each had its own set of pages, intent keywords, and question bank.

When a fund manager visited and typed “how does your investor onboarding work?”, Corvexa identified this as a specific module query and responded:

“We helped one fund reduce investor onboarding from 4 hours to 8 minutes. Want to see how, and I can share the workflow overview?”

That question is impossible to resist if you manage fund onboarding. The lead loop opens. We learn their fund size, AUM, number of investors, and current process. HubSpot gets a fully context-enriched lead before anyone picks up the phone.

Honest Assessment: Pros & Cons

What Works Well

  1. Three-module intent system (Fundraising / Investor Experience / Investment Management) maps perfectly to how GPs evaluate platforms.
  2. AUM and investor count captured in conversation, the two most critical deal-sizing metrics.
  3. Memory across sessions: a GP who shares their fund details once never has to repeat them.
  4. HubSpot sync includes module interest tags, SDRs open calls knowing exactly what to demo first.
  5. International visitor support with geography validation, critical for global real estate funds.

Limitations to Know

  1. Configuration requires you to clearly define your solution modules and the pages associated with each, invest an afternoon getting this right.
  2. Very high ACV deals still require human relationship building, Corvexa opens the door, your team closes it.
  3. Fund managers sometimes ask about competitor comparisons, configure clear boundaries on what Corvexa addresses.

FAQ

Questions buyers usually ask before starting

Clear answers to the practical questions that matter most before you put Corvexa on your website.

Our platform has three different products. Can Corvexa differentiate between them?

Yes. This is exactly what the intent configuration is built for. Map each product to its pages, keywords, and question set. A visitor asking about investor reporting gets a different conversation path than one asking about fundraising.

Fund managers are private and protective of their AUM information. Will they share this in a chat?

When the conversation is relevant and non-threatening, yes. Corvexa does not ask "what is your AUM?" cold. It asks it as part of understanding how to help, "To share the right case study, roughly how many investors are you onboarding per year?" The framing makes all the difference.

We have both GP clients and LP clients visiting our site. Can Corvexa serve both?

Yes. Configure separate intent pathways for GP and LP visitor types, using different page triggers and question sets. GPs asking about fund management get one path; LPs asking about co-investment opportunities get another.

What compliance documents does Corvexa surface to visitors asking about security?

Corvexa does not display documents directly. It can describe your security posture and offer to connect the visitor with your compliance team, which flows into the lead capture loop with the visitor's contact details attached.

We attend a lot of industry events. Can Corvexa supplement event follow-up?

Corvexa captures the website leads that event attendees generate when they look you up after meeting you at a conference. It gives those visitors a reason to engage immediately rather than forgetting you by Monday.
